About Dr Sian
Qualifications
Dr Sian is an accredited psychotherapist and Medicare approved mental health social worker. She has multiple degrees including a Bachelor of Social Work, a Masters degree in Psycho-education, a Diploma in Art Therapy, a Diploma in Multicultural Counselling, a diploma in Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy and a Doctorate degree in Trauma and Written Narrative Therapy. She is also a qualified fitness instructor, she has an advanced certificate in Aromatherapy and she is currently studying diplomas in meditation, Kundalini Yoga and Reiki. Dr Sian is passionate about learning. It excites her to expand her skill set to learn how to more effectively help her clients.
Experience
Dr Sian has a wide range of counselling and hypnotherapy experience. She has worked at the Kalgoorlie Sexual Assault Centre, Transperth, Perth Sexual Headquarters, Headspace, Twice Blessed Wellbeing Psychologists, Clear Health Psychology and she has lectured in social work, education and counselling for Curtin University. For the last nine years she has been committed to her own private practice as well as sub contracting to other agencies.
